Frequently asked questions.
Why does your nonprofit choose to focus on supporting children?
We believe that investing in children is key to building a brighter future. Children are the foundation of any thriving community, and by supporting them, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower future generations.
How do you select children for your programs?
We have a thorough selection process in place that considers factors like vulnerability, family situation, and community need. Local committees and leaders often assist us in identifying children who can benefit most from our support.
What types of housing methods do you use for the children you support?
We prioritize family-based care whenever possible. Many of the children are placed with local foster families who provide a nurturing and stable environment. In cases where this isn't possible, we integrate them into our children's home.
How many children does your nonprofit currently support?
We are currently providing support to over 46 children in Uganda. We aim to reach even more children in need as our resources grow.
What is the most challenging aspect of your work in Uganda?
The most difficult part is often the complex socioeconomic and cultural factors that affect children's well-being. Addressing these challenges requires a holistic approach, collaboration with local communities, and long-term commitment.
Can I specify my donation to support a particular project where all the children benefit?*?
Yes, you can choose to designate your donation to support a specific project that aligns with your interests. We ensure that funds are allocated accordingly and provide updates on the progress of your chosen area.
